Caleb vs His Thirst
Firstly, wow…what an amazing country we live in: being able to run on breathtaking trails like I was lucky enough to run on this evening. Unlike some countries we don’t have dangerous animals, weirdos hiding in bushes, and the Kiwi surroundings are just so awesome. My latest run (picture attached) took me through the gorgeous Karangahake Gorge near Paeroa, and finished near two small waterfalls…one pouring out of a cave.
This evening’s run also gave me a chance to try out my stylish new UltrAspire gear. My weapon of choice today, since I was only out running for an hour and a quarter, was the Isomeric Human Ergo 16. This spunky little bottle holds 450ml of liquid, has a comfy hand strap, and is so light you forget you’re even hanging on to anything. It tucks up into your palm when you’re running too…it wasn’t a distraction at all. It’s definitely the bottle I’m going to use in my 16km Hillary race. But remember, it’s not just for races…it’s the perfect size for any run up to an hour and a half or two hours if you sneak a gel in between the bottle and the casing around the bottle. Anyway, check out all the UltrAspire range, including the very cool UltrAspire Human Ergo 16 (only $36.95) online at UltrAspire.co.nz
Three weeks to The Hillary…yay!
